The design of the Unearthed Choker is similar to the period almost 2000 years ago. It is meaningful faith-based adornment. There was great wealth in the city of Ephesus due to its port, making it a center for trade. Ephesus also had one of the seven wonders of the world, the temple of Artemis – mother, goddess, and patron of the city. Every year, the residents paid homage with an elaborate procession, and the women would wear their finest jewels. I knew I wanted my Gold and Sterling Silver Chokers to have that same vibe, look, and feel.
